Anyone else counting down the hours till work is over so you can go shoot some shit in Destiny? I loaded it up this morning to make sure it was downloading, now the wait is down to about an hour and a half.......come on work, go by faster!

Update: About 4 hours in, game is awesome. Graphics are great, game play is still spectacular, loving the new area’s to explore and all of the side quests / how to get to the main missions. Much more in-depth story as well.

I sat for 30 minutes (on the dot) in “queue” to play last night. Once in I got about 3 hours of playtime. So far, I’m pleased

Will be going home to play more very soon

Friends are pumped. I don’t really care for destiny and overwatch and those types of games. Just forza (racing games in general) and FIFA for me please

haha, fair enough. I’ve always had a console starting from the SNES, but played some games on my computers. StarCraft, Alien vs. Predator, X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter to name a few. To be fair though, I love the look on the big screen with surround sound. Also, easier to get into with a console.

I’ve been hearing good things. I picked up D1 in 2015 after The Taken King, so didn’t have to worry about the teething issues.

I really enjoyed the first one. Had never played a MMO type of game before, so having a FPS that had those elements was really cool to me. Plus, the gun play is very good, best I’ve ever played. I was able to log a ton of hours in it and not get bored.

Forza is fun, but the racing games get boring and old quickly to me. Which is funny when talking about Destiny and games like that with the “grind”. Same thing I guess, but I’d rather be shooting things than driving them I guess.

in fairness I started with a NES and I do currently have a ps4 & xb1 but rarely go on them, prefer the PC

I’ve gotten so used to a controller, I think playing with a mouse and keyboard would feel weird. Though I’ve seen D2 Beta on a computer and it looks amazing.

I primarily use a 360 wired controller on my pc lol I just like having ultra graphics and modding where applicable

It is pretty, I hated the default control layout until I remapped the controls to not suck. Seriously let’s make a key you want to hit a lot c by default?

You can play 98% of the game without ever talking to anyone. The raids and a couple of the arena’s are the only areas that don’t have matchmaking, everywhere else you can go through as single player or matchmake.
